Trading Filters

Moving Average Filter - The moving average filter forces TrendShift to only enter longs above and shorts below the selected moving average. The moving average filter is enabled and set to 25 by default as this setting is universally effective at filtering out inefficient signals.

Moving Average Filter - toggles the moving average filter.

Show on Chart - toggles displaying the moving average on the chart.

Type - selects the type of moving average used.

Length - the length of the moving average used.

Ichimoku Cloud Filter - The Ichimoku Cloud filter force TrendShift to only enter longs when the Ichimoku cloud is positioned bullish and shorts when positioned bearish. Ichimoku Cloud display is enabled by default as its a simple and effective way to visually assess trend direction that is synergistic with TrendShift signals.

Ichimoku Cloud Filter - toggles the Ichimoku Cloud filter.

Show on Chart - toggles displaying the Ichimoku Cloud on the chart.

pSAR filter - The parabolic SAR filter forces TrendShift to only enter longs above and shorts below the selected parabolic SAR range. The parabolic SAR filter is disabled by default. When enabling Bitcoin or Ether optimization, the parabolic SAR filter become enabled and un-adjustable.
