# Entry Settings

**Entry types**:

**Close** - Trade is entered on the close of the colored signal candle

**Confirmed Close** - Trade is entered on a close beyond the high/low of the signal candle

**Max Bars for Close Confirmation** - The maximum number of bars allowed for a close to confirm a signal. Only adjustable when using custom trend optimization.&#x20;

Confirmed close is the default and preferred usage. This leads to less, but more accurate, trading entries.&#x20;
